Solar wasn’t an industry I planned to enter, it was one I stumbled upon at a young age. I started out as a labourer, learning the trade from the ground up, and from the very beginning I found something different about solar. I genuinely fell in love with the work.

What started as an opportunity quickly became a passion. I wanted to learn more, improve my skills and take on bigger challenges. I worked my way through the industry, progressing into larger roles, working with bigger companies and contributing to increasingly large and complex projects.

Throughout that journey, one thing never changed: the pride I took in the work I delivered.

I never looked at a solar installation as simply another job to complete. I looked at every project as if it were a piece of art or my own property. The small details mattered. The finish mattered. The quality mattered. I wanted to be able to stand back at the end of a project and know that it had been done properly.

Eventually, I reached a point where I wanted to build something of my own a company based on the same values that had driven me throughout my career: passion, consistency and an uncompromising eye for quality.

That became M5 Solar.

Today, M5 Solar is built around those same principles. We don't just aim to install solar panels; we aim to deliver work we are proud to put our name on.
